Joint Chemical Engineering Committee (JCEC)

The Queensland JCEC (Joint Chemical Engineering Committee) which incorporates Engineers Australia (EA) and the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE) visited Simtars this week, spending an afternoon with Simtars technical staff.
The visit incorporated tours of Simtars’ propagation tube, dust laboratory demonstrations and the mobile gas laboratory. The tour concluded with an overview of flameproof testing and protection techniques of electrical equipment in hazardous areas.
