Apprenticeship Awards – A proud moment for the Simtars workshop team
Simtars proudly continues to promote improved safety and health outcomes for the resources industry. The workshop is the backbone of many services provided by Simtars. Not only maintaining the facilities and equipment on site, but in providing technical and engineering solutions to underpin research projects, accident investigations, and supporting our emergency response capability.
In April 2022 we welcomed our first cohort of apprentices in many years, Kirra Harvey and Rhett Anderson.
By October 2022 both Kirra and Rhett were nominated for Junior Engineering Apprentice of the Year. They were both finalists and were both awarded the runner-up Encouragement Award prize. It was a privilege to celebrate the wonderful evening with their families and their managers from the Simtars team.
