2023 Industry Leaders’ Briefing
The 2023 Industry Leaders’ Briefing was held on 24 March in Mackay. Hosted by RSHQ, more than 100 participants from across the Queensland resources sector gathered to hear from the regulator and industry safety and health experts.
The annual briefing provides a concise update on the how effectively industry is managing safety and health risks to workers, addresses key issues, and outlines the performance and priorities of the independent regulator for the coming year.

Each year RSHQ releases an annual industry leaders' briefing to provide updates about safety and health performance and provoke thought and discussion among industry leaders and participants.
The briefings discuss safety and health performance - including trends, issues, and the performance and priorities of our inspectorates for the coming year.
