and

• Passed a statutory legislation exam administered by the Board of Examiners

• RIIRIS601E (or equivalent) or MINE7033 or GMIRM.

In addition, the Site Senior Executive, or a person named in a senior position under s55 of the Coal Mining Safety and Health Act 1999, must obtain the competency unit RIIWHS601E (or equivalent) or MINE7041.
