Safety and health incident notifications

In 2024, Resources Safety and Health Queensland (RSHQ) implemented a simpler and more streamlined way for industry to report safety and health incidents – both online, via the RSHQ Portal, and by RSHQ’s statewide, centralised incident notification hotline 1300 312 339.

The Incident Management Reporting System (IMRS), accessed via the RSHQ Portal, provides a streamlined and consistent way for the resources industry to notify RSHQ of safety and health incidents, while satisfying legislative requirements.

By utilising the IMRS, RSHQ can provide more efficient and effective incident response capability, through more consistent and accurate data capture, which informs resources safety and health policies and programs.
