Worker dies at Byerwen coal mine

This afternoon we were notified of an incident at Byerwen coal mine that caused the death of a person on site.

We will be conducting an investigation into the incident.

A Resources Safety and Health Queensland coal inspector and Serious Incident Investigation Unit investigator are on their way to the mine.
