RSHQ launches investigation into Bauhinia gas leak

Resources Safety and Health Queensland (RSHQ) was informed of a gas leak to a pipeline near Bauhinia earlier this morning.

We were notified of a fire at the gas leak and so we’re working closely with QFES to monitor the situation.

An RSHQ inspector is now on scene assessing the situation and has launched an investigation.

The section has been isolated and the incident is under control.

No injuries have been reported at this stage.
